The kids and I took a "field trip" to the space museum. I have been wanting to go since it's closer than the Denver museum and Amelia really likes learning about planets and who doesn't think an astronaut is cool.
They had this explorer's station set up for the kids to practice building their own science experiments using whatever items they can find. Here was a pulley system.
This station you tried to build a balloon hovercraft that would not get blown away by this wind tunnel they had.
K-Nex! The kiddos have never explored with these before and had so much fun building
