Zoo Lights, Broadmoor and a Parade

Operation Christmas Child!

This was the first year the kiddos were old enough to help with Christmas cards and boy was I happy! They stamped all of our envelopes and stuffed them!

We went to the Zoo Lights for the first time! We used to go every year in Arizona and they really set the standards high for us... these were pretty good but nowhere near the extravagance of AZ!

We got to go with some friends we reconnected with since we've moved back... it was so great to see them! We went to Chipotle for dinner after and it was such a delight to take up nearly half the restaurant with our sets of kiddos!!!!

We also went to a Christmas Light parade here in town... this will definitely be the first and last time we do this as it was soooo cold the kiddos really didn't enjoy themselves!

Another tradition of going to the Broadmoor after Christmas Eve church service to see their lights.

We made it early enough this year to listen to Santa tell the story 'Twas the Night Before Christmas and hand out some candy canes : )

We didn't know but some of our good friends had the same tradition as well! We ran into them at the Christmas story : ) Another big family!
