Christmas Day

Our best Christmas gift! What a great reminder that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus. He came to earth looking like this (minus the cute outfit of course) but sometimes it's so easy to forget that our Savior was once a little helpless baby needing his diaper changed, dependent on Mary to live from the food God created her body to provide Him, needing to learn to crawl and walk and talk. I don't often think of His humility in coming to earth in that manner. He easily could've just appeared as a 33 year old man ready to start His ministry but God chose differently. This is my 3rd baby born around Christmastime and I love holding my baby in church Christmas Eve singing the songs about the baby born in a manger. We love you Benjamin and we love you Jesus!

Christmas morning! The view from the balcony... looks like chaos?!?! Or Christmas morning fun : )

Eye level... getting our stations set up
The last two years now that we have so many kiddos and 2 birthdays right before Christmas (now 3 with Benjamin) and more toys than we or our house knows what to do with we have just been getting the kids one big present from us to all of them. Last year was the trampoline and this year we found this neat activity table... it's air hocky, ping pong, basketball and some other game I'm not sure what it is : ) plus we got a little bowling alley to put down in the basement!

Beepa, Millie and Benny
Jo got a new race track... he loves cars and trains
He also got some blocks to stack
Adam, Abbi and Gabe all found this neat authentic picture on the first golf course with one of the first golf balls ever made from ebay to give to Beepa! See the facetime of the siblings!

Josh got some pirate boats to go with a pirate set he got for his birthday
Meema and Lydia
Jo's new couch! Meema and Beepa have gotten all the kids their own little couches which stay in the basement for movie nights down there!
Trolls!

GiGi had a good time on Benjamin duty : ) She just enjoys watching everyone open their presents!
Benny's Christmas present!
Lydia taking a break to eat another serving of Christmas Tree Bread!
We were a little delayed in some Christmas traditions this year so we waited and did our gingerbread houses on Christmas day! It worked out pretty good as I didn't have to find a place to display them for a month : )
Uncle Joey got recruited to help!
GiGi got in on some of the action too

I think he was a little sad he couldn't eat all the candy!
Christmas sweaters!
Our best attempt at a dinner picture (looking back now I really should've put down a fancy tablecloth this picture is just lacking!)
The Jardon family tradition is to open stockings after all the eating has been done... a fun end of the day!
Jo with a little Christmas train set!
Princess Lydia
Aunti Diana with Benny
Sissies
The morning after... relaxing with the babe!
We kept the party going the next day and headed to Chuck E Cheese's
He liked Chuck E !
