Rock Creek Camping... Again!

How wonderful it is to be here in Colorado and be able to camp whenever we want... well, whenever Adam gets time off of work! But at least we're not limited to the 1 trip each summer we used to take! We decided to head back to our usual Rock Creek but we actually went a little past it to Comstock since our favorite site was taken. It turned out for the better as we really like this site.

 We headed in a different direction through a beautiful Aspen grove for our afternoon hike... here's Adam with all the kiddos on his back!

 After a longggg uphill trek where I constantly wondered if it would ever come to an end... we made it to the top and here's what we found...

 ... this beautiful meadow... this is filled with Aspens and it will be incredible in a few weeks when the leaves start changing colors!

 Our little hiker... Amelia becomes a different girl out in the forest... she is so excited and adventurous and she comes alive! She loves hikes!
