Joshua Adam Jardon

We welcomed Joshua Adam Jardon into the world on October 25th at 1:18 PM. Baby Josh was breech (his bottom was set to come out first instead of his head) so we scheduled a "Version" for our Dr. to try to manually turn him while he was still in my belly. The version did not work as Josh's heart rate dropped really low during the process so we got set up and ready for a c-section. We started at 12:00 and he was born at 1:18. Here are some pictures of our last night before Josh was born.

I have pictures of the whole c-section but thought for the stomachs of all our readers I would just post this one... IT'S A BOY!

It was a weird sensation to not really see what was going on or be able to touch him right away but I am thankful my eyes were working so I could see how handsome my little man was!

He is a big boy weighing in at 8 lbs 4 oz (1 lb bigger than Amelia and he was born 1 week earlier than her!)

We finally all got to rendezvous in the recovery room together... it seemed like it took forever to get there but we did!
