On our Oregon trip we got to hang out with my dad at the beach for a week. We headed out to Lincoln City and made it for a beautiful day and then a couple of usual days at the Oregon Coast... overcast, chilly and drizzly. But nonetheless it was beautiful and we had fun and the kiddos loved seeing the vastness of the ocean!
Here's the gang!
Daddy and Amelia on an adventure shell collecting walk
The house my dad rented was so cool! It was at the top of a cliff which was a little scary for the kids as there was no fence but we corralled them and didn't let them outside much! The main living/dining room had a wall of windows facing the coast and that was all the view we needed!
The "game room"... they turned the garage into a game room and it was the perfect little escape if the kids got antsy1
There's that view and wall of windows and a cute window display : )
Even a hot tub!
Playing catch at the beach!
Building sand castles... if you're from the NW then you know these beautiful blue sunny skies are not normal! We soaked them up!
Sand angels... ha!
How cute is this!
Chasing the seagulls!
Our attempt to get all our footprints in the sand
Eating at a local restaurant right by the ocean called Mo's : )
I had the best clam chowder : )
These kids all loved fish sticks!
Outside the restaurant... see the Mo's sign at the bottom of the castle : )
At the shops in Lincoln City
