Halloween

We did a lot of different things this year for Halloween... last year we were remembering spending Halloween at Meema's house for our last night before we moved! It was nice to set up Fall decorations and plan for birthdays and Halloween without simultaneously packing!

Although... we did not make it to any kind of Fall festival this year so we did our pumpkin patch hunting at Wal Mart the night before!!!! And we were not the only ones haha!

... pretty good! The kiddos did the drawings and daddy did the carvings and mommy did the picture taking!

We also went the week of Halloween to IHOP as they were having scary face pancakes for free for the kiddos!

And we went to Boo at the Zoo! It was somewhat of a last minute decision but we made it! I don't know that we'll go again as it really wasn't that much fun for the kiddos... it was really dark so they were sad to not see any animals and the candy stops were more few and far between... but it was still an adventure we can cross off the list!

The lion brothers!

This is the lion from the Wizard of Oz... Meema Devi made this costume and daddy wore it when he was a boy! Although Josh doesn't look too thrilled here he actually did enjoy his costume!

Princess sisters!

This is unfortunately the only actual picture of trick or treating on Halloween night that we got! Some friends went around our neighborhood with us! And we had a little costume change!

I went day after Halloween shopping for some dress up clothes supplies and came back with some great costumes! So they continued in the festivities for a few weeks after!
