Soccer

We are always in a debate as far as what activities to sign the kiddos up for. This was the first year Joshie was old enough for some options here in Springs. We decided to go for soccer! We could get both kiddos on the same day back to back and let me tell you it is so much easier to entertain Lydia and Jo outside on a big soccer field than inside a tiny gymnastics or ballet room! I hesitated a little since we did soccer for Amelia a couple of years ago and she did not like it very much!
Here's the post from the year here.
But this year proved a lot different and I think it helped having her little brother doing the same sport!

First day of practice!

Scrimmage!

He loved it!
He was so excited to get a "penny"! He came running up with a huge grin saying "I'm on the white team yessss!"
One of the weeks we went it was a makeup day and on a different day of the week. We were able to make it and we were actually the only ones! We got a private lesson and all 3 got to be included!
There's little biddy balancing on the soccer ball! She was so funny the weeks after because she thought she should be able to go out and practice again... it was a little challenging getting her to stay off the field!
The week of Halloween they were able to dress up for practice! There's Josh with his cowboy chaps on!
And Amelia as a soccer princess!
Lydia and Jo just hanging out!
"I can't wait till it's my turn to play!"
