Joseph Robert Jardon

6 Days Later ....

Joseph beat Lydia by being 1 day later than she was... and he would've preferred to stay in there incubating but we had to kick him out via induction. I'm convinced he was afraid to meet his siblings! They were already so rough with him inside of me what were they going to be like on the outside!

My mom flew out for 2 weeks to help once he came and only was able to be here for 1 day after he was born! But she was still a lot of help during those last extremely uncomfortable 2 weeks and she cleaned and loaded up our fridge and freezer before she left... thanks mom! Here we are on one of our many walks trying to coax him out... notice Lydia in the front pushing Amelia's double doll stroller : )

We tried eating at Texas Roadhouse which was one of my last meals with both Josh and Lydia... still no luck with that trick!
This was a final belly shot 1 week before Joseph came... looks like twins in there!
We finally scheduled an induction for the morning of the 8th. We called in the morning and they told us they didn't have any room for us !!! This really began feeling like a Christmas baby !!! I had fears this would go on all day as we sat at home anxiously awaiting a phone call that there was room for us and fortunately they called around 10 AM : ) Here I am in with a view of Pikes Peak (where Adam proposed and the prospect of all these kiddos ever began!) headed into the hospital
Dressed and ready for the show to begin! Utilizing the last of my built in beverage tray : )
They broke my water at 10:30 to see what my body would do naturally. About 11:30 they started me on Pitocin as nothing was really progressing. They came in every 30 mins. or so and increased the dose to help my contractions get stronger and closer together. Around 1:00 I started getting pretty uncomfortable and had an epidural in place by 1:15 : ) I started relaxing a bit and closed my eyes for a few mins. Right around 2:00 I started feeling some pressure like I needed to push. I was just turning around to hit my nurse call button to have her come see where I was at when the nurse walked in and said she was looking at my contractions on the monitor and wondered if I was starting to feel pressure! She checked me and we were ready to go! My Doc came in and everyone got ready. I started pushing at 2:15 and by 2:30 this giant boy was out!!! What a blessing! Another quick and easy VBAC delivery!
'

Look at that chunker! 9 lbs 6 oz 21 1/2 " long ! The biggest of all 4 (let's blame it on him being late)!
Here's a picture of Adam cutting the umbilical cord : )
He looks like a fully grown 3 month old!

Handsome eyes! We think he's going to have blue eyes like Josh. The girls when they were born had dark dark brown almost black eyes and Josh was the only one with slate gray eyes and now Joseph is joining him : )

He looks so sweet and precious here

Wow! These chubby cheeks in this picture leave me speechless!!!!! He's a chunk!

Here are the siblings! Watch out!
They were all so infatuated by him!
I'm so happy to not be the baby anymore!
Meema, Big Big Sister and Baby Jo
 She's becoming a pro!
 Daddy's turn!

This is how we spent most of that day and the next... just lounging!
 And watching a little cable!
This Meema does not get tired of adding another grandbaby to her family : )

The kiddos got pretty worn out there all day... Here's Lydia sleeping in the closet
and getting some snuggles with mama
Josh fell asleep on the couch... comfy?
 This is much better!
One of our first pictures as a family of 6!
Thumbs up!
Waiting to go home...
In his cute going home outfit : )

We are so blessed to add Joseph to our family! And we are so thankful for such a wonderful delivery! Welcome Baby Jo!!!
