Adam's Grandma Betty passed away on November 10th. It was a sad day for the family as any family member passing away is but it was also a day of rejoicing. Betty was getting very tired and sick as her age continued on and was in a lot of pain physically. We all know she is in heaven with her husband Gus who died 10 years (almost to the date) prior and she is in a much better place.
Here is one of my favorite pictures of her when she was younger... she looks very beautiful here!
Here are 3 of her children (Britt, Jeri and Marty) speaking at the funeral
At the burial
Her coffin... right next to Gus's : )
We saw this huge deer trying to sneak into the graveyard on our way out!
The whole family! Red was Betty's favorite color so we all wore a pop of red in her honor!
The girls being silly!
I realized after looking at which pictures to put in for this post that I never did a post of her 90th birthday party/family reunion! We had the blessing this summer of celebrating her 90th birthday with family from all across the United States. None of us knew this would be her last birthday but what a great blessing to have everyone see her one last time!
Here's to Betty Boop!
What a great picture of her enjoying this day!
