We took advantage of the festivities in the big city and Daddy took Amelia on their first daddy-daughter date to the Nutcracker!!! It was such a special time for them and Amelia adored the ballet as she is very much into that right now.

She was a little embarassed I think because of all the attention : )
Little Joshie stayed home for a Mommy-Son Date which consisted of him going to bed and me watching a movie with my mom and Allen haha!
You can't call it a daddy-daughter date without some ice cream first! I was impressed by the napkin bib : ) very good thought!
Here they are at the ballet. She said her favorite part was the part when the girl danced with the guy like this (and you can picture her twirling)! So fun!
We also went on a family date : ) to see the big tree in Portland. It is 80 feet tall!

I don't know what this statue is all about but it's a part of Pioneer Square history... and Amelia wanted to make her mark next to it : )
