We flew back to Colorado Springs for a quick 2 day trip last weekend for our friends David and Lauren's wedding! It was a beautiful trip as it snowed the whole time we were there! It was overcast and snowy that we never even saw Pikes Peak... very unusual. We welcomed the snow and the bliss that comes from watching the big flakes fall... as well as the accompanied crazy driving, slippery walking and wondering if your car can make it up that hill to reach your final destination : ) God kept us safe and brought us home just fine. I was nervous about flying with Amelia but she did great! She slept both ways the entire flight!!!! As we walked on board it was open seating and you could tell everyone was trying to avoid eye contact hoping the couple with the small baby would stroll right on past... and they all were pleasantly surprised when they didn't hear a peep out of our little baby : ) Quite a few even commented on how good of a baby she was... or he (I guess the bright pink hat still didn't give it away that our baby is a she and not a he)!!Getting ready to board the plane... and yes we were still smiling when we arrived : )
